Apparently fed up with recording industry and media politics, teen rapper Soulja Boy recently decided to blow off some steam in a racist Twitter rant.
The rapper went ballistic in the Wedneday (July 1) night message, throwing barbs at those he feels are trying to compromise the integrity of his image and music.
"Water down my music and my appearance and make me look like something [I'm] not," he wrote. "THESE CRACKERS DON'T KNOW WHO THE F*CK I REALLY AM!!! Then I get signed. This is where my dream slowly died... these crackaz wanna criticize a n*gga. Take REALSH*T and turn it into trash. Like why? Like really. My music dream was the sh*t 2 years ago before I was signed. It was everthing I could ever imagine."
SB then threatened to bow out of the game in an apparent testament to the faith he has lost.
"Yeah I said," he added. "F*ck all yall. I'm taking my money and leaving. Gonna go blow kush and live my 2nd dream. This rap sh*t lame now."
According to reports, the rapper was talked off the retirement ledge by R&B crooner/actor Tyrese and the messages were deleted by this morning.
"Just got off the phone with @Tyrese4Real," SB wrote. "[A]nd he gave me some real good advice, thanks homie."
>>>Interesting, what he saying is the RECORD LABEL now wants him to tone his image down, and go for a more mature audience..ITS ONLY BECAUSE the gimic he was doing is no longer selling for....HIS ALBUM DIDNT EVEN DO GOLD!
