Lovely look for Ms. Sparks. One of my faves for her.

Wouldn’t have been my pick for Jenny but um, yeah.

India.Arie came out of hiding to hit the carpet in this gold and black number.

And Toni Braxton worked the red carpet ion this all white long trained gown.
More pics from the red carpet and performances when you read the rest…

Colors worked, dress itself didn’t Jenny.

Leona Lewis was there rocking a victorian number.

Pretty jewelry.

Corbin Bleu held it down for the fellas.

Jordin’s daddy Phillippi Sparks came out to support.

The Housewives hit the stage for some reason.

Jenny performed with Stevie Wonder.

Paula was the host and tried to play like Ellen.
And over at the afterparty:

LIL BOOSIE speaks on possible prison time & upcoming movie??

While staring staight into the barrell of a possible five-year prison sentence, Lil' Boosie is keeping his mind on the dime, even talking the release of his freshest venture, a new movie.
As if releasing his new album, Superbad: The Return Of Boosie Bad Azz, wasn't enough, the Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper is also preparing for his upcoming trial in connection with firearm and drug posession charges and the release of a new movie.
According to reports, Boosie is facing a five-year stint in prison stemming from his arrest last year.
Though this marked his third marijuana offense, Boosie insists the authorities are the ones with the problem.
"They [the police] just made all these statements," Boosie said in an interview with Allhiphop. "It was for rumor of the day. I don't know where all these statements came from. I had a couple altercations that went down but they're really trying to take me down. They made all kinds of false statements saying I said all kinds of stuff like 'How much ya'll want' and 'I'm going to tell the judge this.' They got me all messed up."
Boosie is due in court to answer to the charges on September 28.
Whether he manages to slip his way out of his legal troubles or not, Boosie is also planning to bring another of his visions to the big screen.
"I also have a movie coming out called Ghetto Stories: The Movie," Boosie said. "I think we're going to release it in November. We're just at the table right now figuring out how I'm going to get paid for it."
