Whitney Houston Discusses Life, Love and Her Upcoming Album

Legendary R&B singer, Whitney Houston, spoke on camera about her upcoming comeback album, “I Look To You,” spoke on her teen daughter Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown, talked on her relationship with friend and business executive Clive Davis, founder of J Records, who also spoke on camera, and more.

Details of Whitney Houston’s album, which now has a release date of August 28, 2009, tracklisting and other information was revealed on the Internet this month, as reported on IndustryBlitz.com, and, is highly anticipated and expected to be one of Whitney Houston’s most ‘meaningful’ albums.

“I think a lot wiser… things mean a lot more to me,” stated Whitney Houston during her interview.

Whitney Houston also spoke about her teen daughter Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown stating, “I have a 16 year-old daughter which changes and makes a lot of changes in a woman’s life.”

Houston was joined by Clive Davis who also added, “She’s in a great tradition of great great singers whether it’s Lena Horne or Ella Fitzgerald or Sarah Vaughan or Gladys Knight. And she’s given birth, we’ve given birth, if you will, to copyrights that are soundtracks of the 80’s and 90’s. So we were looking for songs that will do the same today because you find very few albums… very few artists… that really give music that you are gonna sing for 40, 80 more years.”

Clive Davis goes on to state that Whitney Houston really puts meaning to songs and was nearly brought to tears on one occasion. Davis went on to call Whitney Houston “timeless” which, at that point, Whitney Houston gave credit to the collaboration between herself and Clive Davis and her gospel upbringing as to what helped shape her music.

Later in the interview Gale King, Oprah Winfrey’s best friend, expressed her thoughts as well on the duo, Clive Davis and Whitney Houston, referring to their relationship as a “musical marriage.”

Kelly Clarkson Accused Of Ripping Off Beyonce, Says She Didn’t Steal!

Since American Idol 2002 winner Pop/R&B singer, songwriter Kelly Clarkson, released her new song “Already Gone” off her 2009 album, “All I Ever Wanted,” which was co-written by Clarkson and Ryan Tedder, who is also the music producer, the singer/songwriter has been accused of ripping off Beyonce’s beats for her new single “Halo.”

However, Kelly Clarkson claims she was worried this would happen and is upset with her label for releasing the song and blames her song’s co-writer and music producer, Ryan Tedder, for giving her a beat so similar to Beyonce’s new song “Halo.”

“No-one’s gonna be sittin’ at home, thinking ‘Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to.’ No, they’re just gonna be saying I ripped someone off. I called Ryan and said, ‘I don’t understand. Why would you do that?’,” Clarkson told CBC News in Canada.

Clarkson’s song “Already Gone” was set to release August 11, 2009 while Beyonce’s “Halo” song was set to be released earlier this year, but was released late last year.

Clarkson claims her label released the song without her consent while it is believed that Tedder was unaware that Beyonce would release the song because it was once thought to be removed from one of her prior releases, but later released on Beyonce’s album, “I Am… Sasha Fierce.”

I think that’s why I was named that by BallerStatus. It’s because I go so hard. And a lot of people don’t really understand that. Unless you’re in my world you ain't really understanding it. And what’s going on now is that my world is starting to involve into everybody else’s world — my mixtape records, I'm on my Internet grind. I got four songs on the radio right now. I’ve always been grinding, but over the past year and a half, I’ve gone into overdrive.

I know it’s your intention to get people excited about the album. Are you looking to make more mixtapes?
I’ve been making mixtapes since 2004. I will never stop.

So what motivates you to go harder? Where does the hunger come from?
I’m a grinder. I'm a beast. I need to eat. I’m forever hungry. I don’t see how people get content.

How does your family fit into all of this?
My family knows I’m out here working so they can eat. I got to send my little brother to college. I retired my mother from work early. My grandmother’s getting older. I do this so I can be the breadwinner so I can hold it down if need be. Whenever someone in my family needs something or if a situation in my family goes off course, I can be there for them. So nobody complains about me not being there at home. And I work even when I’m not supposed to be working.

What advice do you give to your brothers about girls?
Well my brothers are just starting to get into that age where they getting into that, and they gaining their own identity.

How old are they?
One is 14. The other one is 16. And I think they're just getting to the point where they're comfortable talking to me. And it’s kind of cool. I just keep it a hundred with them depending on what they’re coming to me with. I tell my younger brother if he’s going to have sex, he’s got to wear a condom. I tell him how to put it on. As far as the NFL concerned, I don’t know how their rules work. I know that when he was initially charged and even before he was charged, he had gotten a lot taken from him. So I think if they’re going to reinstate him then they should just reinstate him. And if they say that they got to do that then they got to do that. But I don’t think that it’s necessary. I think he served his debt to society.

Which team do you think he should be picked up by?
I would love for the Redskins to get him. If the Buffalo Bills get him it would be crazy and it would take some of the pressure off [Terrell Owens]. And T.O. wouldn’t be the only threat, but they got a good quarterback up there. But we need him on the Redskins though.

Any thoughts on the child support settlement with Nas and Kelis?
That’s a lot of money. That’s a lot of money for child support. That’s clearly not the money she would need to take care of that child.

But wouldn't Nas be spending about that much if they were still together?
But that would be on them and the family. They’re not a family. I think she got him. It was cheaper to keep her.

Does that make you worried to get married and divorce and all that?
No, I feel like when I find that person, I’ll know. I’m not in a rush to get married anyway. And I think a lot about that. I want family, I want children but that’s why I don’t have kids now. I want to make sure I don’t get put in a situation like that. I saw that happen all too many times.

How many kids do you want to have?
I want to have a lot of kids. I love kids.

What’s a lot though? 10?
Not no 10 (laughs), probably 4, 5, or 6.

Boys or girls?
Just kids. It’s a blessing to myself and the woman I love.

Are you surprised you don’t have any kids?
I take a very precaution. I’m very safe.

Yup.

Why did you guys decide to do that?
Pre-order packages are for my real fans to see whose going to go get it. It’s a lot to offer there. I think with the pre-order packages you see how hard I go for my fans. It was my product manager’s ideas to put some pictures together and put out something genuine my fans can hold on to. I came with the idea of the “Yuuup” t-shirt and the media department came with the idea of the live video chat.

Your fans go hard.
Yea so I want to make sure I go hard for them so they have a piece of something special, not what everybody else gets. I know that they’ll appreciate that.

Sales are looking good so far?
They’re doing well. We’re basically a month a way from the album. At the pace that they’re going now, we should be at a good position.

Michael Jackson: Custody Deal Has Been Reached/ & MJ's secret son revealed??

Londell McMillan, Katherine Jackson's attorney, announced on The Early Show that a custody agreement had been reached. McMillan stated, "It's an agreement... for the best interests of the children... This is not about the money."

Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, will get custody of Michael's three children, Blanket, 7, Paris, 11, and Prince, 12.

Debbie Rowe, the mother of Prince and Paris, will be granted visitation rights and she will also retain her parental rights. A psychologist will be supervising the visitation process as Rowe gets to know her children. Additionally, Rowe will continue to receive the monthly settlement payments which Michael had been paying her; however, Rowe will be given no additional money.

Why did Rowe agree to this custody deal?

Many factors may have contributed to Rowe's ultimate decision. First, public opinion was against Rowe since she previously waived her parental rights and did not take the opportunity to get to know her children. Secondly, all three children were old enough to state their preference, and they may have stated that they did not want Rowe to have custody. No one enjoys living with recalcitrant adolescents, and it is doubtful that Rowe is an exception to the rule. Lastly, it is unlikely that Rowe would have prevailed at the custody hearing set for August 3rd since Katherine Jackson's attorney likely would have been able to prove that granting custody to Rowe would have been detrimental to the children as a result of the fact that Rowe had never made an effort to spend time with her children prior to Michael's death.

I mean Ive been said that, this is one reason CIARA fails....She has no identity of herself as a music artist. Her album is yet to sell 400k


But here is all what her ex-stylist said.

Ciara has been rocking a new short cut, crediting hair stylist Kiyah Wright for the edgy look. However, her ex-stylist Shirlena Allen is not having. She’s hitting up everyone who will listen to tell them how wack she thinks Ciara’s new cut is and that she is the one that styled Ciara’s hair for the beauty shots that have been circulating the web.

Sorry to say Ciara’s pic in short hair Kiyah did not do , I did the photo shoot with Derek Blanks. Now the one with her and Kiyah ,is Kiyah’s work. Two different styles , the wig used and work on the photo shoot she doesn’t even want to pay me for for , let alone I ask for the wig back a year ago, she says she cant find it. There is a huge difference in work, mine’s is a little more sexy. She has no identity. Still trying to find a look

We spent hours trying to find this child a look and she still bites and don’t listen to a list . She’s a year behind all of it . Crazy !, she would have been rocking it all before all if she listen ,now she looks like a knock off.
