Fabolous approaches 200,000 units with Loso's Way as he slid a mere three spots to #19. As Fab descended, the Black Eyed Peas and The E.N.D. still remained in the Top 5, behind George Strait, Reba McEntire, Kings Of Leon and '90s rockers Third Eye Blind.Next week, BEP may be the second Hip Hop outfit in 2009 to reach the million mark, after label-mate Eminem. Maxwell's Black Summer's Night remained popped out of the Top 10 for the first time, still sitting comfortably at #11. The lone new release in the urban sector to crack the Top 25 was Sean Paul's Imperial Blaze. Surprising to some, the platinum Dancehall sensation did not debut in the Top 10, selling just under 30,000 units. Eminem's Relapse fell one spot to #20. The Aftermath effort is still promised to be the first, as 50 Cent's Before I Self Destruct and Dr. Dre's Detox are on deck respectively.
Slaughterhouse fell nearly 50 spots with their self-titled album . The album sales were a major discussion topic to industry insiders last week, as the group has been a top draw online through the blog community. E1's other new artist Dorrough slid to #85. Dorrough Music comes with help from Tum Tum, Lil Flip and other respected Texas rappers. Both E1 artists are at 25,000 units sold overall.
Twista's Category F5 crossed the 100,000 mark, after a month on the charts. The Chicago veteran's album has proven to be one of the bigger comebacks of 2009 commercially and critically.
T.I. finally certified double-platinum status of his 2008 album Paper Trail . This achievement had been teased on the charts the last two weeks, but the now-incarcerated rapper affirms his super-stardom in troubling economic times for the music industry.

Julius Hollander, bodyguard to Beyonce and previous bodyguard to Jay-Z, was ordered to appear in Croatian court today. He was charged with several crimes by the Croatian cops thanks to that big scuffle with local paparazzi this week. Julius entered court today accompanied by his lawyer Denis Orlic, and interpreters. He spent about two hours in court, and received a guilty verdict for the disruption of public order and peace
After getting a camera tripod thrown at him by paparazzi
He last surviving brother in a political dynasty and one of the most influential senators in history.
There was a time 40 years ago, right after the assassination of his brother Robert, when it looked like Edward Kennedy would become President someday by right of succession. The Kennedy curse, the one that had seen all three of his brothers cut down in their prime, had created for him a sort of Kennedy prerogative, or at least the illusion of one, an inevitable claim on the White House. For years he seemed like a man simply waiting for the right moment to take what everybody knew was coming his way.

Conservative talk show host Bill O' Reilly and nationally-syndicated radio personality Rush Limbaugh had some sharp barbs for Jay-Z after hearing their names mentioned in an unflattering light on his new song Off That.
"This ain't black versus white, my n*gga we off that/ Please tell Bill O' Reilly to fall back/ Tell Rush Limbaugh to get off my balls/ This 2010, not 1864," Jay rapped over the track.
"A regular Otis Redding, isn't he?" O' Reilly quipped in his response.
Limbaugh, on the other hand, was more long-winded with his comeback on his The Rush Limbaugh Show, saying "I have been mentioned in a rap song by the rapper Jay-Z€¦ Is this [marking] a new development in my career to be singled out in a rap song by the famous rapper Jay-Z? I guess it is. As far as I know, I have never been mentioned in a rap song by anybody. I guess that means I've made it. I'm now in a rap tune by the famous rapper Jay-Z."
"I would remind the rapper Jay-Z; Mr. Z, it is President Obama who wants mandated circumcision," he continued, apparently missing the point of Jay's message. "We had that yesterday. That means if we need to save our penises from anybody, it's Obama. I did not know I was on anybody's balls. I'm happy to know that they think I am though."
Off That is featured on Jay-Z's upcoming album, Blueprint 3, which will hit stores on September 11.
CRITICISM OF “D.O.A.”: “I’m not hating on young people. Like, when people say that, I’m like, What are you talking about? It’s just stupid. I’m not hating on young people… I’m not Bill Russell, [saying] Michael Jordan ain’t shit. I’m saying Lil Wayne and Kanye are like LeBron and Kobe. My job as someone at the forefront of the game is to leave it in a better position than when I came in. Same way that Russell [Simmons] left it to me. ’Cause this thing saved my life. Literally. So I have a responsibility to it karmically. And after that it’s on you. I did my part. I made ‘D.O.A.’ I said it. I made the statement. I made the push. Here, y’all take it from here.”
HIS LEGACY AS FORMER DEF JAM RECORDS PRESIDENT: “So if you ask me to grade my performance as the president, I’d say A-plus. No one can bat a 100. It’s impossible. I mean, everyone is looking at my shit. But if we really looked under the hood [of] every single [record exec] and the acts they put out in that time, I’d be comparable to anyone.”
HIS STANDING IN THE GAME: “But when I say I’m the best, I don’t say that outta my ass. I say that with all my stats behind me. I put that against anybody. I mean anybody. I really believe that… I believe in a lot of things. I believe that ‘SportsCenter’ is the best thing on TV. I shouldn’t have to prove it. But I do have these stats to prove it. I’m talking about real run. I’m not talking about years off. I’m talking about straight—boom, boom, boom—back to back. We’re not talking about heritage acts either. We’re not talking about respect what I’ve done. I’m talking No. 1 [albums] 10 times. The Beatles is the only one [to have more No. 1 albums]. They got 19, and if I get a surge of creativity, I could make nine albums next year.”

“I feel empowered. Finally,” Rowland says with a laugh and a snap of her fingers. “When you don’t believe in yourself, you feel like you’re living in fear. You don’t give yourself the opportunity to believe that you can. And as much as you tell yourself you can’t do it, you end up not doing it. Me? I was complacent and comfortable where I was.”

Chris Brown is sentenced to five years probation, with a stricter ruling than Rihanna's request.
A judge on Tuesday sentenced Chris Brown to five years' probation, six months' community labor for the beating of Rihanna and ordered the R&B singer to stay away from his former girlfriend for the next five years.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg told Brown that he could be sent to state prison if he violated any terms of his sentence, including an order to stay 100 yards away from Rihanna unless they're attending music industry events.

=================================== Michael Jackson's Death Ruled A Homicide
The Los Angeles coroner has ruled Michael Jackson's death a homicide, making it more likely that criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with him when he died, one law enforcement official says.
According to the official, who chose to remain anonymous, the coroner found Jackson was given a deadly dose of drugs hours before his death on June 25.
Among the drugs found in his body was an anesthetic called propofol, as well as two sedatives, the official said.
It is being said that the combination of these drugs, and not the individual components, is what caused his death.
Diddy and Cassie's dedication to Twitter has made it increasingly harder to hide their relationship. This past weekend, Cassie went apparently OT to her cousin's wedding. Now we know those things drum up the emotion in the hardest of hard bodies. At about 6:55 pm on Saturday, Cassie apparently playin' bridesmaid posted this flick.
An hour later, Puff took notice:
Finally she touched down back in the Big Apple on Sunday. And guess who she went to see.
Did somebody say turkey?
Now from late last night into this morning, Diddy has been frantically tweetin' photos from a new Cassie photo shoot.
