T-Boz has just gotten over the Swine Flu.???

TLC member T-Boz has just gotten over the swine flu. She’s been going through several medical issues as of late between Sickle Cell and a brain tumor. And recently, she and her daughter Chase both contracted the flu. But only T-Boz got the H1N1 strain. She says it knocked her down completely, but now she’s better:

“My daughter and I had sore throats that lasted about three days, so we went to see an ear, nose and throat specialist,” Watkins explained to reporters.

She continued: “After examining us, he told me my daughter had the flu - and I had swine flu… I made arrangements right away for my daughter to stay with my mom… I had to stay in the house and away from everyone.”

“It hit me really hard,” said T-Boz. “…I had a bad cough, and my ear was infected too. I got up to go to the bathroom and became winded.”

On his album Attention Deficit

“This is my biography,” Wale says of Attention: Deficit, which leaked a couple of weeks before it’s official date. “It’s honest. Raw emotion. It’s close to me. That’s why part of me will be a little offended if it doesn’t get heard. I don’t want people to take lack of sales as me taking a hit. This is something different. My label is letting me put out an album with a single that released seven months ago. We’re not going for first week sales. We only shipping out 30,000 of them. We’re going for that grind. We’re showing people that you can build a fanbase the old fashioned way.”

On relationships

“It’s about the intangibles in 2010,” he says. “The superficial shit is cool – like, yeah she can fuck, or she got a big butt. That’s the x factor. Fairy Tale Wedding Goes Wrong: Tampa Nuptials End With Grandma in Choke Hold

Forget that the recent wedding reception of Tampa, Fla., couple Tasha Johnson and Markeith Brown was held at a restaurant called the Rusty Pelican -- it was apparently a classy, fairy tale-themed event, complete with a horse and carriage, romantic vows exchanged at an oceanside gazebo and a ballroom reception.

The affair remained classy until around 9 p.m., when Tampa police say Brown began throwing money on the dance floor for children to pick up, which angered one of his guests. When the groom and his brother asked the guest to leave, a fight broke out that escalated and spilled into the parking lot. Cops came -- but it doesn't end there. After guests left, the fight started up again in a hotel parking lot, where the groom's 74-year-old grandmother was put in a choke hold after trying to break up the brawl.

At least one person has been arrested and one was treated in the emergency room as a result of this wedding brawl, but you might be happy to learn that Tasha and Markeith, "the money thrower," are enjoying their honeymoon in the Bahamas right now. They might not be any worse for the wear after their wedding gone wrong, but if you want to avoid making some major mistakes -- as either a bride, a groom or a wedding guest -- pay attention to the following five things you should never do at a wedding.<


1) THROWING MONEY AT YOUR GUESTS: It can be a cultural tradition for the bride and groom to do a "money" or "dollar" dance at a wedding, but sprinkling dollar bills on a crowd of people, aka "making it rain," is a totally different story and is never a good idea (see: Jones, Pacman). Also, as generous as it might be, it's pretty gross to give money to your guests in the same manner that you gave out money to the dancers at your bachelor party.

2) GET BOOZY & BELLIGERENT: If treated responsibly, open bars are nice accents to a fun wedding. If treated irresponsibly, well, see above. There's really no better way to ruin what is supposed to be the best day of two peoples' lives than to get drunk and start throwing blows. On days like these, family ties come undone. The bride will call the police on you.

3) SCREW UP THE TOAST: Write notes. Don't have too many drinks beforehand. Remove all thoughts of his or her exes from your mind. Be discreet. Because if you call the bride by the groom's ex-girlfriend's name or let it slip that she's in her first trimester, she'll never let you come to the house again. Ever.

4) HIT ON SOMEONE INAPPROPRIATE: It should go without saying that the groom's grandmother is off limits, right? It's hard to be single at a wedding, but there's no rule that says you have to find someone to hook up with at every wedding celebration you attend. Relax.

5) BE TACKY: Of course, tacky people don't necessarily know they're tacky. But if you don't do any of the things that this family in the UK did for their 16-year-old daughter's wedding last year, then you at least know you won't have the tackiest wedding the world has ever seen.

Rapper B.G. Jailed On Gun Charges//& David Banner FREE album

Hot Boyz rapper B.G. aka Christopher ‘Dorsey’ formerly of Cash Money Records and the CEO of the record label Chopper City Records was arrested on Tuesday (Nov. 3rd), in New Orleans on a felony gun charge after being pulled over by authorities, according to reports

Contrary to some recent reports, B.G. is no longer residing in the Orleans Parish Prison following his arrest last Tuesday (November 3rd) on one felony count for illegal carrying of weapons.

“My lawyer got a judge to give me a pre-set bond, so I didn’t have to go to court to get a bond [set],” B.G. explained as to why no bond appeared for him in the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff Office’s electronic records. “My lawyer called a judge, and a judge pre-set my bond without me being in front of him. If you get a felony [charge] you gotta go in front the judge to get a bond, but my lawyer called the judge and got the judge to give me a bond without me being in front of him. That put me out 12 hours before I woulda been out if I wouldn’t a had a good lawyer, or if I wasn’t politically connected.”

Gizzle’s good counsel not only sprung him from confinement a half-day early, but attorneys JC Lawrence and Frank Desalvo also got B.G.’s pre-set bond amount reduced.

“The bond, [the court] wanted to set it at a 100,000 [dollars] because of my record,” he revealed, “but the bond end up being like 50,000.”

According to B.G., he was a passenger in but not driving the Chevy Tahoe that was pulled over by officers from New Orleans 7th District on the evening of November 3rd. The vehicle was driven by 28-year-old Jerod Fedison, who B.G. explained to DX was pulled over by NOPD claiming Mr. Fedison had failed to use his turn signal while making a turn.

After stopping their vehicle, police subsequently searched the Tahoe and reportedly discovered three guns, two of which were reported stolen, along with loaded magazines and two additional extended magazine clips.

B.G. and Fedison were both charged with illegal carrying of weapons, while the third occupant of the Tahoe, 18-year-old Demounde Pollard, was charged with two counts of illegal possession of stolen firearms, one count of illegal carrying of a weapon, and three additional charges for possession of Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, and Alprazolam.
