TLC member T-Boz has just gotten over the swine flu. She’s been going through several medical issues as of late between Sickle Cell and a brain tumor. And recently, she and her daughter Chase both contracted the flu. But only T-Boz got the H1N1 strain. She says it knocked her down completely, but now she’s better:
“My daughter and I had sore throats that lasted about three days, so we went to see an ear, nose and throat specialist,” Watkins explained to reporters.
She continued: “After examining us, he told me my daughter had the flu - and I had swine flu… I made arrangements right away for my daughter to stay with my mom… I had to stay in the house and away from everyone.”
“It hit me really hard,” said T-Boz. “…I had a bad cough, and my ear was infected too. I got up to go to the bathroom and became winded.”
>>>WOW!

This sounds like an early version of the next Birdman single that he shot the video to.

Days into his four year bid, Boosie issued this statement today:
“I made some very foolish choices, but I was doing the best I could to provide for my family before I went away to jail,” he explained regarding why he violated his parole. “Clearly I exercised terrible judgment and I hope to get the opportunity to prove that I can make great decisions for my family and the community in the future.”

Wendy Williams was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame yesterday. And her former sidekick Charlemagne was there to intro her. Congrats to Wendy.

I warned ya about this one.

Can’t have new Ri-Ri without new CB. Here’s a midtempo one for the ladies. Yup, Brown’s single and he wants to mingle. I can dig the 60's era type album cover.

Chris Brown taped an episode of “106 & Park” yesterday and it airs today (10/12) on BET. Interviewed by co-host Rocsi , Chris discussed the steps he’s taking to move forward; the domestic abuse that occurred in his home and how his fans are responding to him now.

Here’s what Chris had to say:
On understanding the extent of what happened: “…with the situation…it’s not something you could take lightly and not something you could push under the rug…it’s a really serious situation and it’s something that I regret and I wish I didn’t do it.”
On being questioned about his sincerity in previous interviews: “…I just feel like at the end of the day I’m human…I can only tell you how I personally feel…I can’t make everybody love me, but I can just try… and I can honestly say that I am sorry.”
L Omarion WHO WAS THE CO/HOST And it looks like his fans are still supportive.

What do you get when you take two of the biggest female pop stars on the planet, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, and put them on the same track? Gaga says it best: Hubba hubba. The “Video Phone (Extended Remix)” can be found on the deluxe edition of Beyoncé’s I Am…, in stores November 23.

Here’s an exclusive first listen from Beyonce’s upcoming live album, “I Am…Yours. An Intimate Performance At Wynn Las Vegas.”:
Here’s some low quality sneak peeks at Beyonce on the set of her Dereon photoshoot in Santorini, Greece:

He tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, “No disrespect, but no Amber Rose for me. Everybody has their past - and don’t get me wrong, I’m not judgemental at all - but I do like a certain amount of class.”
And Omarion wants to set the record straight about his relationship status once and for all: “I’m not married. I’m chilling. At this moment I’m not (dating). I have friends that I converse with, and I have that male-female camaraderie, but there’s no girlfriend at the moment.
------------Today, Ozone published the rest of Maurice Garland’s engrossing interview with Lil Boosie. In it, Bad Azz says he needs help from the dude with the Rainbow Coalition.
….But really, I’d feel like I’m just punching these crackers back in the face for what they’re doing to me. This is my first conviction. Jesse Jackson needs to be down here screaming for me too. This my first conviction and I’m doing jail time. I know millions of people with paper on them for gun and drug charges, but [I got sentenced] because of who I am… Jail only makes you sell more records. Niggas are already asking to book me for the first Saturday I’m home. Offering [amounts of] money I’ve never gotten before [for shows]. I’m just gonna be in there chilling, looking at pictures, beating my dick to bad bitches

Roc Nation’s newest signee is on the cover of Honey Magazine’s November digital issue. And after Honey chatted with his rumored boo Solange just last month about their status, he’s dishing on how he feels about lil Knowles:
On Solange
“I do love her,” he admits of Solange, flashing a Cheshire. “We’re friends. She’s amazing. She’s a good person. Any single mother contributing to society the way she does – I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly. And the way she can do that and manage to do the same things that I complain about having to do.”

On his album Attention Deficit
“This is my biography,” Wale says of Attention: Deficit, which leaked a couple of weeks before it’s official date. “It’s honest. Raw emotion. It’s close to me. That’s why part of me will be a little offended if it doesn’t get heard. I don’t want people to take lack of sales as me taking a hit. This is something different. My label is letting me put out an album with a single that released seven months ago. We’re not going for first week sales. We only shipping out 30,000 of them. We’re going for that grind. We’re showing people that you can build a fanbase the old fashioned way.”

On relationships
“It’s about the intangibles in 2010,” he says. “The superficial shit is cool – like, yeah she can fuck, or she got a big butt. That’s the x factor. We’re not going to have sex 24/7 so we need to be friends. I want a girl who you could hijack all her extra artificial cosmetics for a week and not even notice. Somebody who’s smart and can stimulate me mentally because when you on the road it’s not like you can look at ‘em or touch ‘em. I can’t stand girls who don’t challenge their intellect. It don’t hurt if she can sing a little bit.”

On his female fans
“I think people try too hard to market to females,” says Wale. “They insult their intelligence. I feel like there are going to be a lot of females who miss out on some great music on my album just because I wasn’t a huge radio artist.”

On his peers
“I got work to do before I even catch up to Cudi and Drake,” he admits. “They’ve progressed a little bit quicker than I have. I worked twice as hard because I wasn’t fortunate enough to be under a successful rapper to inherit some of their fan base. I had to work for it all and my city had to hold me down.”

In an interview with Rap-Up, Drake says he doesn’t have a release date yet for his debut album, Thank Me Later. He also denies that his track, “Shut Em Down” with The-Dream is his first single. Hopefully, we’ll get a confirmation sooner than later.
Forget that the recent wedding reception of Tampa, Fla., couple Tasha Johnson and Markeith Brown was held at a restaurant called the Rusty Pelican -- it was apparently a classy, fairy tale-themed event, complete with a horse and carriage, romantic vows exchanged at an oceanside gazebo and a ballroom reception.
