Chris Brown is ready to reignite the clubs with Fortune, T.I. is cooking up more Trouble on his first album since prison, Nicki Minaj is unleashing her feisty alter ego Roman Zolanski on her sophomore set, and Kanye West has everyone on the edge of their seat waiting for the G.O.O.D. Music album.

From the return of veterans Nas, 50 Cent, and Missy Elliott to the great expectations of freshman Frank Ocean, here are 10 albums that are bound to make noise this year.

Chris Brown – Fortune

Chris Brown has been blacklisted by some, hated by many, and criticized by others, but at the end of the day, there’s no denying his talent. While he’s nominated three times at this year’s Grammys, the R&B crooner is gearing up for his fifth album, Fortune. The project has already spawned the scintillating single “Strip” featuring Kevin McCall and the dance floor-ready follow-up “Turn Up the Music.” With a collaboration with Nas and possible assists from Wiz Khalifa and will.i.am, Fortune is shaping up to be another winner for Breezy.

T.I. – Trouble Man

From joining America’s sweetheart Taylor Swift on stage to landing a VH1 reality show (“T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle”) once he ended a prison bid last year, there’s always something to look forward to when it comes to T.I. This year, he’ll deliver his eighth studio album Trouble Man, which comes 11 years after his debut, I’m Serious. Fans got a taste of what’s to come with his recent mixtape F*ck Da City Up, featuring collaborations with Dr. Dre, Young Jeezy, Pusha T, and B.o.B. Details remain scarce on who will join the guest list for Trouble Man, but count on a cameo from Trey Songz, who cut a “club anthem” with Tip and Rico Love.

Missy Elliott – Block Party

It’s been seven years since Missy Elliott released her last album The Cookbook, but she’s finally ready to return. The trailblazing femcee, who revealed a battle with Graves’ disease in 2011, is crafting her seventh effort, tentatively titled Block Party. Expect production from Timbaland and more funky and tripped-out beats reminiscent of her previous efforts Under Construction and Miss E… So Addictive. Though a release date has yet to be announced, early listeners including Ciara, Keri Hilson, and Busta Rhymes have praised the new material. Missy popped up on the remix to Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.),” and the rapper’s cameo in J. Cole’s “Nobody’s Perfect” video may just put her back where she belongs.

G.O.O.D. Music – TBD

Back in October, Kanye West sent Twitter into a frenzy when he revealed that his G.O.O.D. Music family would be dropping an album in the spring. While there was little else to go on except the under-140-character message, that was all Yeezy’s followers needed to start the countdown. Big Sean, Kid Cudi, John Legend, Pusha T, and Common are likely to appear on the compilation, but the boss has kept mum on details. R&B songbird Marsha Ambrosius recently revealed that not only did she travel to London to record with West, but so did Frank Ocean and Mannie Fresh. Hit-Boy and Mr Hudson are also stepping in to take the project from G.O.O.D. to great.

Nicki Minaj – Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded

The Trinidad-born, Queens-bred MC unveiled a surprising twist when she dropped the title of her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, last year. Not only would it be landing on Valentine’s Day, it would also feature her alter ego Roman Zolanski in a starring role. Like many hip-hop releases, the due date has since changed to April 3, but that hasn’t stopped the Best New Artist nominee from working around the clock after she delivered the buzz track “Roman in Moscow.” She recently debuted the Hype Williams-directed visuals for “Stupid Hoe,” and will perform a new song at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. Get ready for Roman’s invasion.

Frank Ocean – TBD

Frank Ocean has not let down listeners since he catapulted to fame last year. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter, who has written for Beyoncé and been called upon by Kanye West and Jay-Z to Watch the Throne, is this generation’s Al Green. The lyrics he pens are heartfelt, more than memorable, and work in most any setting. How’s that for versatility? As an Odd Future affiliate, he possesses the same bold qualities as his Golf Wang brethren, but without the foolery and antics of leader Tyler, the Creator. Critics hailed his stellar debut, Nostalgia, Ultra, and the New Orleans native is wasting no time readying the much-anticipated follow-up. He showcased new material including the Mary J. Blige-sampled “Super Rich Kids” during his brief solo tour last year, and is crafting more “sonic goodies.” Expect Ocean to make big waves this year.

50 Cent – TBD

The G-Unit rapper has been involved in a public battle with Interscope Records, taking to Twitter to bash his label home for providing lackluster support of his new music and even blaming them for leaking his single “Girls Go Wild” featuring Jeremih. He’s since apologized for the outbursts and is moving forward with plans to release his fifth album and possibly another one right after it. To get the buzz building, Fif dropped The Big 10 mixtape in December, an effort full of street-centric tracks reminiscent of his early career. The videos have been watched by millions, reasserting his status as a hip-hop powerhouse. One record that may make the album is the DJ Felli Fel-produced “Lighters” featuring Chris Brown. “It’s probably going to be the biggest record I’ve ever done,” teased the Los Angeles DJ.

Nas – TBD

Eighteen years after a rapper from Queens by the name of Nasty Nas made his debut, he stills remains one of the most respected lyricists in the game. Now 38 years old, Nas is set to deliver his 10th album on Def Jam this year. Anxious fans have been waiting since 2008 for fresh solo material, the last being his untitled album. A four-year wait may be discouraging, but Nas has kept his name relevant by collaborating with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Common, and Mary J. Blige. God’s son returned to his roots in the video for “Nasty,” which was shot in the Queensbridge projects where he grew up. The Salaam Remi production reminded listeners of the realness of his rhymes, set over a classic boom-bap beat. If it’s any indication of what’s in store, hip-hop heads will not be disappointed.

Brandy – TBD

A Grammy winner with five albums under her belt, it was only a matter of time before veteran vocalist Brandy found her way into a new record deal. Her sixth album, due this May on RCA/Chameleon Records, promises classic R&B with a contemporary twist. She has parted ways with longtime collaborator Rodney Jerkins, who helmed 2008’s Human, and called on today’s top hitmakers including Rico Love, Hit-Boy, Frank Ocean, Chris Brown, Bangladesh, and Tha Bizness. “I wanted to take this opportunity to really try to bring R&B back,” said one of her collaborators Sean Garrett. Kicking off the project is the Rico Love-produced “It All Belongs to Me,” a duet with Monica, which arrives 14 years after “The Boy Is Mine” topped the charts. That plus an assist from Drake may be just what Brandy needs to reclaim her glory days.

Rick Ross – God Forgives, I Don’t

Miami rap kingpin Rick Ross never leaves his fans without music for long. After releasing his fourth album, Teflon Don, in 2010, he dropped a collaborative LP, Self Made, Vol. 1, with his Maybach Music Group signees Wale and Meek Mill. Then there were countless remixes and joint tracks with some of hip-hop’s elite players like Lil Wayne and Drake, and finally the announcement that he was indeed debuting a fifth project, God Forgives, I Don’t. Initially scheduled for release in December, he pushed the album to this year, but not before showing off the Nicki-Minaj assisted “You the Boss” and the Just Blaze-produced “I Love My Bitches.” His new mixtape Rich Forever, which has spawned the Drake-assisted “Stay Schemin’,” dropped at the top of the year featuring everyone from Nas to Kelly Rowland. After a recent studio session in Miami with the legendary Dr. Dre, you can bet on 2012 being the year of the Bawse.

Woman Sues Cash Money Records After Alleged Assault: MyFoxATLANTA.com

ATLANTA - Silm and Baby appeared in court this week, to Face a lawsuit from a woman Claiming Cash Money Records was responsible for her getting raped.

A College Park woman is asking a judge to make a recording company responsible for an assault committed by one of its employees.

Nicole Westmoreland claims she was supposed to be given an opportunity to make a business presentation, but instead she says she was "exposed to illegal drugs and explicit sexual activity" before the act took place.

"I was followed into the bathroom, forced inside and I was raped," Westmoreland said.

She identified Alfred Cleveland as the man who committed the assault.

He told authorities when they took him into custody that he worked for Cash Money Records.

The criminal case has already been handled through a negotiated plea. Cleveland got jail time.

Attorney Charles Hodges has a civil lawsuit pending against the record company on behalf of the young woman.

Westmoreland claims she was offered $100,000 not to go to police, which she refused. She said the company threatened her life if she refused to drop the case.

“That if I didn’t drop it that they were going to kill me,” said Westmoreland in court on Tuesday.

Record company lawyer Jim Cox refuted that claim. The defense denies that Cleveland was an employee of that company; they claim he was a friend.

“I believe that Brian Williams and Ronald Williams had to know that the rapist was dangerous,” Westmoreland testified.

Westmoreland said the incident has forced her to seek treatment at a mental hospital after feeling suicidal. She is seeking unspecified damages.

Alley Boy EATS HIS WORDS Says 'He Didn't Diss T.I. & Jeezy

Atlanta's Alley Boy says he's not dissing Tip or Jeezy, adding that he's "exercising the sport" and expressing how he feels.

Although Alley Boy recently made comments about T.I. and Young Jeezy on a mixtape track, the ATL rapper says he wasn't dissing them. The track in question is "I Want In" off of Alley's latest mixtape, Nigganati. The song features lyrics like, "Niggas claim they're fuckin' the city up, bitch, you a liar," a line many viewed as a shot at T.I.'s mixtape title, Fuck Da City Up. He also has lines that similarly allude to Jeezy. Still, Alley Boy has announced that he was just "exercising the sport" in a recent interview with Fader.

"I’m not dissing them," he explained. "I’m a street motherfucker. But we’re all rappers at the end of the day, so I’m just exercising the sport. It’s just me, freedom of speech. There’s a lot of fake shit going on in Atlanta. People put up a persona. For example, Jeezy says he’s the realest nigga in it. That slaps a lot of niggas in the face who feel like they real. Or T.I. being like, I’m the King of the South. Look at all the forefathers we had before him, like Scarface, 8Ball & MJG. That’s like a slap in their face, too. I’m just expressing how I feel and separating myself from everything else in Atlanta."

He then explained that he wasn't dissing T.I. or Jeezy musically. He also added that he might lose fans, but that he's willing to risk that.

"'I Want In' isn’t about hating on the music," he noted. "This is on some street shit. I’m not talking about the industry, I’m not talking about music. I don’t give a fuck. I might lose the support of people who don’t know me—they’ve got millions of fans. But I’m in a position where I don’t got shit to lose."

On keeping her house in California:
"[It has been] great because I have my own career and life elsewhere, I have a home I paid for with my own money, and I need to be able to nurture that as well."

On life with Dwyane Wade in Miami:
"D and I have a life together, too. I love my life in Miami, I can't imagine functioning without both, I love the design district, I love Midtown, I love what's happening downtown now. I can be at People's Bar-B-Que or Sustain or Prime One Twelve, and I'm comfortable. It's rare for me to feel that level of freedom. Miami represents joy for me."

On seeing a more diversely cast group of lead actresses:
"It's great for the other groups that are getting a chance to play more roles, and ideally, I'd like to think there were enough roles for everyone. But we are trying to get [filmmakers and producers] to consider that the doctor, a lawyer, even the lead could be an African-American woman."

On her career:
"I've been lucky; for the past year, I haven't really auditioned for anything; the parts I got were straight-up offers. I'm not so grand that I wouldn't audition. In fact, I wish I could audition more. There are a lot of people who won't give me a chance because I was in 'Bring It On' one thousand years ago. They don't think I can be more than that sassy sidekick. I guess they didn't see 'Cadillac Records' or 'Neo Ned.'"

On starting a family:
"I was never someone who thought about having kids – I mean, they're great in theory, but I never imagined having one [myself]. Marlo Hampton is sorry .Sundays night's episode of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" during a catfight with Sheree Whitfield,

Now, she's taken to her website to issue a long apology.

The utter foolery that was last night's South Africa trip episode of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" rasied many an-eyebrow. For one, the fact Sheree & Marlo were literally across the world fighting like 10-year-olds over ish like Marlo not getting invited to Sheree's friend's party (despite the fact the two are NOT friends) is just embarrassing. And secondly, dropping a gay slur, or any slur for that matter--just because you're mad--when you claim many of the people in that community are like family to you, is just odd.

Sheree mentioned that her friend was gay, after the girls asked if this was more than a friend to her. In the video above, when the uninvited Marlo got offended that Sheree didn't invite her to Sheree's friend's party, she went off.

Marlo's exact words: "Well anyway, that's why you don't have a man. Go and hang with them f*****s with your ugly ass."

As usual, Marlo used her gift of too much gab to apologize today and explain her actions. She expressed her disappointment in herself and stated she wants to continue to build her "strong relationship" with the gay community. Here's what she posted on her website:

It is with great disappointment in myself and sincere regret that I would like to issue to my friends, my most ardent supporters, and my followers, this statement:

I would like to offer from the bottom of my heart the fullest and most heartfelt apology for my recent use of an anti-gay slur. When I used this word, I was not mindful of the demeaning connotation that this has in the gay community. My speech was irresponsible, thoughtless and said with the intention of conveying anger rather than as a statement on my feelings towards the gay community as a whole.

My first action, after the incident was to contact my closest friend and assistant of 8 years and to confess what I had done, to express my sadness and regret, and to ask him for his forgiveness. I was devastated at the thought of having hurt or embarrassed him as well as any member of the gay community and relish this opportunity to publicly apologize. My friends have embraced me, supported me, withheld judgment of me and have meant a lot to me over the years. I would never abuse their kindness and friendship and would never want to hurt them or demean them in any way.

I applaud and admire this community for their triumph over a sometimes harsh, mean spirited society that discriminates and even violently attacks those who are different. These are obstacles that I relate to and that I have been inspired by them to overcome. I celebrate this community and am saddened by any indication otherwise, that my actions may have caused.

Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez were spotted taking little Nahla out to lunch at the beach yesterday.

The L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is recommending that 3-year-old Nahla go into counseling, mainly due to Gabe's alleged anger management issues.

The former couple is due in court where it's expected that Halle will ask the judge to prohibit Gabriel from having any contact with Nahla until after the investigation. Also, Gabe has asked for a restraining order AGAINST the nanny as he thinks she is making up stories in favor of Halle.

Oliver and Halle took Nahla to lunch at The Little Door in Hollywood yesterday.

The trio had a fun day at the beach. No shirt for her though?

Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. join Madonna’s cheerleading squad in the brief teaser for “Give Me All Your Luvin’,” the first single from the pop queen’s upcoming album MDNA (March 26). A longer preview will air Thursday on “American Idol,” with the full video and song premiering February 3.

After months of chatter, Madonna has officially announced plans for her return. The pop queen will release her new single and video featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. early next month.

“Give Me All Your Luvin’” is the first single from the Material Girl’s 12th studio album MDNA, due March 26 on Interscope Records. The song was written by Madonna, Martin Solveig, Nicki Minaj, and M.I.A, composed by Martin Solveig and Michael Tordjman, and produced by Madonna and Martin Solveig.

It will hit iTunes on February 3, the Friday before she performs at the Super Bowl halftime show with the Young Money rapper and M.I.A. Cee Lo Green and LMFAO are also rumored to be on the bill.

It’s only one month into the new year, but Ne-Yo is making major moves. The Grammy-winning singer has signed to Motown Records and been appointed Senior Vice President of A&R.

After releasing four albums on Def Jam, Ne-Yo will transition to Motown and serve in a creative role, reports Billboard.biz. He will also bring his Compound Entertainment imprint to the label.

In his new position, the R&B gentleman will produce and mentor Motown’s artists, as well as sign and develop new talent.

“I’m honored that I’ve been given such a prestigious title and trusted with such responsibility; terrified because I know that playing this role in the fashion of one of my career role models, Mr. Smokey Robinson—these are big shoes to fill. But trust, I can handle it,” said Ne-Yo in a statement.

Barry Weiss, Island Def Jam Motown Chairman and CEO, added, “His track record of success at Def Jam will always be a benchmark. But this move to Motown will provide new and inspiring challenges for Ne-Yo as both an artist and a key member of the new senior management team that is taking form at the label in 2012.”

Ne-Yo’s fifth album and first for Motown, The Cracks in Mr. Perfect, is due this summer. He can currently be seen in George Lucas’ Red Tails and will appear as a mentor on the upcoming season of NBC’s “The Voice.”

Our favorite KDash, Khloe, has been the subject of tabloid fodder over the past few weeks after two of Robert Kardashian’s ex wives claimed that he confessed to them that she wasn’t his biological daughter. To add insult to injury, Kris Jenner admitted in her recently released book that she stepped out on Rob during their marriage with a mystery man, she calls ‘Ryan’. Since then, the media has linked everyone from OJ Simpson to Hollywood animater Todd Waterman (who admits he was involved with Kris during her marriage) to Khloe, however, according to Blind Gossip, Kris won’t have to take a trip to Maury to figure out who Khloe’s real dad is. It’s none other than her hairstylist of over 30 years, Alex Roldan. How’d that happen?

Meet Alex Roldan, Kris Jenner’s hairdresser. This is Khloe Kardashian’s biological father. He worked on a music video that Kris Kardashian did for her 30th birthday called “I Love My Friends”. Alex is now a hairdresser in West Hollywood. While Robert Kardashian was only 5’7″ tall, Alex is a much larger man, standing approximately six feet tall. BTW, Khloe’s middle name is Alexandra.

Although Khloe blasted her former step moms for being ‘disgusting’ on twitter when they ran to the tabloids, she already knows that Alex is her father. In fact, she is said to have been pissed that she was lied to all of these years. Kris, on the other hand, is already plotting to make the reveal on a future episode of the Kardashian show.

Kris is taking this another step forward. She wants to introduce Khloe’s real biological father as a plot point on a “very special episode” of one of the Kardashian shows. We’re going to spoil her surprise by introducing him here first. (FYI, Kris did tell Khloe who the man is already, so this is not coming a surprise for anyone in their family. Plus it’s all leaking out this week, despite Kris’ desire to keep it a secret until showtime to make the ratings as high as possible.)

January is winding down, and with the Golden Globes being last week, the entertainment industry is in the full swing of awards season. Now, one of Hip Hop's own took home a major win this weekend when the A Tribe Called Quest documentary Beats, Rhyme and Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest was honored at the Producer's Guild of America Awards.

According to The Wrap, actor Michael Rapaport's documentary about the legendary Native Tongues trio took home the Best Documentary award at the Producer's Guild of America Awards. The awards honor the producers who produce and execute the best film and television programs of the year.

Beats, Rhymes and Life, which was released this past summer, garnered critical acclaim from Hip Hop fans and film critics alike. Although the PGA is the first award the film has yet to receive, reports indicate that the film is on the shortlist for the Academy Awards Best Feature Length Documentary.

Mary J. Blige didn’t hear her name called when nominations for the 84th Annual Academy Awards were announced today. The disappointed singer took to Twitter to address the snub.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul was considered a front-runner in the Best Original Song category for “The Living Proof,” the ballad she penned for The Help. The film was nominated in major categories including Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress, but shut out of the music categories.

Blige, who rose bright and early for the live announcement, thanked her supporters and expressed her disappointment with the news. “I’m so thankful for true fans like you all. It saddens me & feels like the Academy is being mean. 2 only nominate 2 of the 5 slots is…….” she wrote before retweeting reactions from her fans.

The category, which typically sees four to five nominees, only had two this year. Sergio Mendes and Carlinhos Brown were recognized for “Real in Rio” from the animated film Rio and Bret McKenzie received a nod for “Man or Muppet” from The Muppets.

Blige was previously nominated at this year’s Golden Globes, but lost in the category to Madonna.

Chelsea Handler is used to asking the questions, but the blonde comedienne was the one in the hot seat on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show on Monday (Jan. 23). The talk show host got candid when speaking about her relationship with 50 Cent and had some choice words for Mariah Carey.

“He’s actually a lot different than you would think. He’s really sweet,” Handler said of the hip-hop star, who she dated briefly in 2010. “I thought it was kind of amusing that I would even be with 50 Cent. I thought it was funny.”

Her Hollywood pals including Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon were fascinated by their romance. “My friends all loved him, my friends fell in love with him,” she said. “They loved that I was dating him. They were like, ‘Chelsea, come on.’ They were both laughing really hard at it… I mean, everyone was.”

But things went sour after one of 50’s ex-girlfriends, rumored to be Ciara, appeared on her show. “We dated for a couple months and then we had a falling out,” she explained. “One of his ex-girlfriends was coming onto my show.”

According to Handler, 50 warned her that his ex still had feelings for him, but she didn’t want to hear it.

“It was just so juvenile, I was at work,” said Handler before hurling insults his way. “Whatever I called him was probably the worst thing you could say to a black person, short of calling him the N-word. I said you’re like a street person, basically, something along the lines of being a gangster. It was really, really offensive and I hung up and I’ve never spoken to him again.”

50 wasn’t her only victim. Handler also lashed out at Mariah Carey. “She’s worse than Elizabeth Taylor,” she said. “She’s just so ridiculous with her body. You see her one day and she’s like 50 pounds heavier or lighter. I mean, what is she doing? I don’t even understand what hemisphere people like that operate in. There’s nothing real about her and her Hello Kitty whatever…”

Can’t stop, won’t stop. Sean “Diddy” Combs is expanding his entertainment empire. The Bad Boy mogul is planning to launch a music-themed cable network at the end of the year, according to several sources.

Broadcasting & Cable reports that Diddy’s new channel will be called Revolt and is aiming to go live on 12/12/12.

Former MTV programming chief Andy Schuon is reportedly involved with the well-funded venture. He previously headed a music channel called International Music Feed (IMF).

Diddy has been in talks with Comcast and Time Warner Cable to distribute Revolt, which is being described as a music and music news channel with an urban skew. One source likened it to the old days of MTV, but catered to an African-American audience.

Diddy’s Bad Boy office did not confirm reports, but a Time Warner Cable spokesperson said they have had “some discussions” regarding the network.

I lost ALL respect for Obama when he dissed Etta James in favor of Beyonce. No respect for women at all, I thought-Etta was a hero 2 women. I loved Etta James -and yes that did it for me – He hurt her when she was ill

I have not listened to anything Beyonce or Jay z has said or recorded since they did that to Etta. Their arrogance was disgusting.

The ladies of SWV are making a comeback. The ’90s R&B trio, known as Sisters With Voices, will release their first studio album in nearly 15 years this spring.

I Missed Us, the follow-up to 1997’s Release Some Tension, is due April 10 via eOne Music/Mass Appeal Entertainment.

The first single, “Co-Sign” produced by Lamb (Beyoncé, Monica), is picking up spins at radio, while members Taj, Lelee, and Coko have been in the studio with Bryan-Michael Cox and Jazze Pha finishing the album.

“It’s a great feeling to be back recording together again!” said the ladies in a statement. “Something special always happens when we come together.”

SWV released its debut album It’s About Time in 1992. The album went multi-platinum and spawned R&B classics such as “I’m So Into You,” “Right Here,” “Downtown,” “Weak,” and “You’re Always on My Mind.”

When my father was murdered it really hurt. And to not even have his body for a funeral did something to me. We had a memorial for him. They kidnapped him, killed him and chopped his body up. (He used the event to a reason to buy a vehicle and move to NYC).

Having my wife in my life it's like everything matters, where it's good or bad, because it doesn't affect just me anymore. It affects her, it affects my kids. I really have to watch what I do....I just know that I'm living for more than me now.

Whitney Houston returns to the big screen for the first time in 15 years in Sparkle, a remake of the 1976 Motown-era film. In the first official still from the movie (via PEOPLE), the legendary singer plays mother to her co-star, Jordin Sparks.

“Part of the fun of making this movie is definitely the costumes and the hairstyles,” the 48-year-old diva tells PEOPLE. “The movie is set in 1963, and we had a great wardrobe, hair and makeup person and I loved wearing the outfits.”

Sparks makes her film debut alongside Houston. “She was so cool and very motherly toward me,” says the 22-year-old “American Idol” winner, who plays a singer who hits it big. “If I ever looked like I needed something, here she came saying ‘Are you okay?’”

Sparkle, which marks Houston’s first big-screen role since The Preacher’s Wife in 1996, opens in theaters on August 10.

Nicki Minaj is breaking hearts this Valentine’s Day. The “Super Bass” rapper has delayed the release of her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Originally scheduled to drop on February 14, it will now arrive on April 3, she announced via Twitter.

“New Album Date: April 3rd. Pink Friday: ROMAN RELOADED. But have no fear. Tons of surprises before then ;). Love Always, HB,” Nicki told her Barbz.

The album has spawned the singles “Roman in Moscow” and “Stupid Hoe,” for which a Hype Williams-directed video premiered on Friday.

Nicki hinted at a surprise guest on the follow-up to her 2010 debut Pink Friday. “Just got some heron from one of ur fave artists. In the studio shakin my fuckin head right now. WOW. Roman Reloaded,” she tweeted.

To promote the release, she will perform a new song live at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on February 12 and travel overseas to London (Feb. 19-25), Paris (Feb. 26-27), Berlin (Feb. 28), and Tokyo (March 1-4).

Common may have taken shots at Drake on his remix to “Stay Schemin’,” but the Chi-town MC still respects his rival’s music. In a new interview, Common had some kind words to say about the Young Money star and is ready to leave the beef behind.

The two rappers have been battling it out on wax. Most recently, Drake dissed Common on Rick Ross’ Rich Forever cut “Stay Schemin’.” Common fired back with a vicious verse, calling Drake “Canada Dry.” But he had no malicious words to say about his adversary when speaking with Rolling Stone.

“I think he makes good music,” Common said of the Canadian MC. “He’s definitely said some real clever things and made some cool songs. I like his music.”

He explained why he decided to respond to Drake. “I don’t think I had anything to prove,” he said. “I just felt like somebody stepped and challenged me, so I had to step into the ring. He said some things that I thought were directed at me, so I had to address it back.”

But Common is done beefing unless Drake retaliates. “I feel like I said what I had to say, and I’m just going to let it be at that point,” he added. “Now, if something else happens, then I’ll just have to act accordingly. But right now, I feel like, man, I said what I needed to say about this situation on record.”

And while their fans may be invested in the feud, Common said it isn’t serious. “It’s nothing like, ‘Oh man, it’s so personal.’ It’s just the art of rhyming, man. The art of rhyming!”

Andre 3000 will join actors Adrien Brody and Gael Garcia Bernal as “masters of style” in an ad campaign to promote a new facial hair-styling product from Gillette.

Three Stacks will be included in the campaign for the Fusion ProGlide Styler, a “three-in-one facial hair styling tool for men” that helps men to “trim evenly, shave closely and edge accurately.”

“I feel that personal style should always reflect who you are and be constantly evolving,” said Andre 3000 in a statement. “Being part of Gillette’s ‘Masters of Style’ program was a natural choice for me because I enjoy the freedom of changing my appearance to suit my mood.”

Drake Puts Miami Condos Up for Sale for $2.5 Million

Drake is already on to the next one. The Canadian hip-hop star is selling the Miami condos where he shot the video for “I’m on One.”

According to TMZ, Drizzy put the properties on the market last week. The two adjacent units, which he combined into one larger space, are located in the upscale Marquis Residences in downtown Miami. One is listed for $1.9 million and the other for $599,000.

The larger condo is 3,800 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, while the one-bedroom unit is a comfortable 1,675 square feet. The luxurious digs feature a marble staircase and bathroom, media room, hardwood floors, and state-of-the-art kitchen, with views of Biscayne Bay.

The 25-year-old rapper purchased the properties in January 2011 for a combined price of $1.903 million.

Bruno Mars has a clean record once again. A judge dismissed the cocaine possession charge against the Grammy-winning singer today in Las Vegas.

Attorneys for the pop star told Judge Jessie Walsh that Mars, born Peter Gene Hernandez, stayed out of trouble and met other conditions of a plea deal reached almost a year ago.

The 26-year-old, who is nominated for six awards at this year’s Grammys, did not appear in court on Wednesday. He completed probation, paid a $2,000 fine, and performed 230 hours of community service and eight hours of drug counseling.

“Bruno earned the dismissal of his charge,” his lawyer Blair Berk told TMZ. “He exceeded the expectations of the court in both his service to the community and his counseling.”

Mars was arrested in September 2010 following a concert at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Vegas. He plead guilty to having 2.6 grams of cocaine.

Weezy and the Dallas Cowboys allegedly scuffled this past weekend.

Lil Wayne and NFL star Dez Bryant reportedly engaged in an altercation on Sunday at Fountainebleau’s Club LIV in Miami, Florida.

According to Miami New Times, the fight occurred outside of the club over someone mocking the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver about his “subpar season and a mounting personal debt crisis.” Miami Beach Police have no record of Bryant being detained, but say that there was “a bit of a melee outside LIV that night with a drunk patron striking a security guard.” Bryant’s name is not mentioned in the paperwork.

But according to a Herald reporter, Lil Wayne and his entourage were involved in the scuffle. The story is yet to be confirmed, but several sources say that the fight occurred between the two parties.

Cool James becomes the first person to host the award ceremony in seven years.

Two-time winner LL Cool J has been tapped to host the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards, making it the first time in seven years that the Academy has enlisted a host.

"I'm thrilled to be part of Music's Biggest Night," said LL. "I will always have fond memories of my first GRAMMY Awards and to now be hosting the GRAMMY show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true. Great performances and great music — it's gonna be a great night!"

LL has hosted "The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music's Biggest Night" since it began in December 2008. He has been nominated nine times, and won in the Best Rap Solo Performance category in 1992 and 1997 for "Mama Said Knock You Out" and "Hey Lover," respectively.

The event will take place on February 12th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and will be aired on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m.

Shyne Reconciles With Diddy, Plans To Meet

Shyne and Diddy bury the hatchet over the 1999 club shooting that put Shyne behind bars.

Shyne and Sean “Diddy” Combs have reportedly patched up their differences during a phone call.

During an interview with MTV News, Shyne, who served a near nine-year bid for a club shooting with Puff, has reconciled with the Bad Boy mogul over the phone and plan to meet in the upcoming weeks.

“As far as Puff is concerned, that's been a long time coming," he said. "He had reached out to me twice while I was in the pen, but I just wasn't ready for it."

While Shyne took the rap for the 1999 shooting, he says that Diddy always held him down and that he eventually became ready to speak with him. Now, the two plan to meet in Paris, France in the forthcoming weeks and have a “roundtable.”

"I felt how I felt, I said what I said. In retrospect, when you looked at the way he handled it, he held it down, he wore it," he said. "He ain't had nothing to say; always had good things to say. It was always, 'Yo, whatever Shyne need, we got him.'”

Taye Diggs says he wasn’t always comfortable in his own skin. It wasn’t until he was an adult that he could overcome and get passed all the insults he had heard growing up because he’s dark-skinned.

Taye has written a children’s book called ‘Chocolate Me!’ where he draws from hurtful personal experiences from when he was younger and teaches kids to be happy just the was they are. As a dad with a 2-year-old interracial son, Taye discusses raising a mixed race child, how race affected him growing up, his parent’s making sure he always had positive black influences and how he feels Denzel and Wesley Snipes created a “shift” in the industry for the dark chocolate brothas. He also recently sat down with MyBrownBaby.com and revealed that it wasn’t until he accidentally came across an article about Tyson Beckford that he was proud to be dark.

On Growing Up With the ‘Light vs Dark’ Stigma
When I got into high school I started to hear, just from the black community, everybody is more attracted to the light skin girls and the light skin dudes with the light eyes. And from within the race the light skin black people and lighter brown people would make fun of the darker people. So then it was a completely different kind of struggle. And then funnily enough it was when dark skinned men, and this was just from my perspective, there seemed to be a shift where all of a sudden we saw Denzel Washington, Wesley Snipes, Tyson Beckford. I’m still trying to figure out how this came to be. For me, when I saw Tyson Beckford hailed as this beautiful man by all people, that caused a shift in my being. And I remember literally waking up and walking the streets feeling a little bit more proud. And then after the movie “How Stella Got Her Groove Back,” when I had my own personal moments of weakness, I just had to remind myself of all the people that really enjoyed that movie and just kind of lean on that.

On Raising an Interracial Child
Me and my wife, we discuss this and we’re still trying to figure some of this out just with Walker and what he should call himself and how he views himself. When I was growing up if you were half a shade darker than white, the white people would not accept you. You weren’t white. These days, thank God, people are a little bit more accepting and people’s views are broadening and it’s not as accepted to just choose one, how you might have been forced to in the past. I think it depends on the parents’ perspective and how they feel about those issues and how they kind of want to pass that down to their child. As proud as I am of my blackness, I think it’s important to show Walker that he should be just as proud of his Jewish mother and all of the culture that that includes as well.

On His Parents & Colorism
At five-years-old, none of us knew the can of worms we were opening… the little white kids who were making fun of me, they didn’t know. Their whole questioning was coming from the fact that I was different. None of them ever used the N word or negro. They just knew, “ok, his skin is brown, my skin is white, his skin is white, his skin is white, let’s make fun of him.” It wasn’t even in a nasty way at 5. But I obviously didn’t take it well. And then the older you get, once that understanding came, then that was a whole different issue. Then you have to deal with serious self-reflection. My mother was very fair skin and my dad was dark. And back in my mother’s day, she was seeking out the dark men because she didn’t feel black enough. So it’s a continuing issue. We’ve come a long way, but I don’t think we’re fully over it as a society.

On His Parent’s Teaching Self-Esteem
My mother and my father made sure that whatever we were going to see, whether it was a movie, play, TV, they always brought attention to black performers; without in any way being discouraging to other races. It was just this, “we want to make sure you understand who you are and regardless of what mainstream society puts out there or may think, this is what is happening. These are positive people that look like you and are doing great things so there’s no excuse for you to not be doing things just as great.”

Nick Cannon was back on his grind after being hospitalized with “mild kidney failure” while on vacation in Aspen earlier this month. The showbiz mogul returned to the airwaves on his radio show to address his health and interview a controversial guest.

Howard Stern phoned in to Nick’s 92.3 NOW radio show “Rollin’ with Nick Cannon” on Tuesday (Jan. 17). The shock jock is a judge on the new season of “America’s Got Talent,” which Cannon hosts. While the two have had their issues in the past (Stern has insulted Mariah on his SiriusXM show), they put aside their differences and remained cordial.

Roc and Roe’s father, who appeared with his wife at BET Honors over the weekend, explained why he was hospitalized. “They originally thought I had acute mountain sickness ’cause I was in Aspen,” said Cannon. “Then I did all these tests and they were like, it’s just kidney stones. Then they didn’t find any stones. Then they thought it was a kidney infection. Then it was a lot more serious. They found out that my kidneys weren’t functioning well.”

But after some time off, he’s feeling much better. “I got a couple more procedures I gotta go do, but I’m good, I’m back. I’m feeling 100 percent.”

The hard-working Cannon, who juggles many different roles, learned a valuable lesson from his health scare. “Because of this situation, I definitely know that I don’t need to go too hard.”

A week after giving birth to Blue Ivy Carter, Beyoncé is enjoying motherhood. She got a visit from her friends Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams who say their fellow Destiny’s Child diva is a natural in her new role.

“She was born to be a mother,” Kelly Rowland told PEOPLE at Saturday’s taping of BET Honors in Washington, D.C. “She’s wonderful.”

Michelle Williams also praised her DC sister. “She has such compassion for people and humanity, period,” said Williams, adding that B and Jay-Z’s daughter is already one of the most stylish babies she’s seen.

But she didn’t expect the busy B to become the first mom of the group. “We were very shocked. We were laughing with each other the other day and she was like, ‘Can y’all believe it? I was the anti—like no children for me,’ and she’s the first one [of us to have a baby],” shared Williams. “So it was so amazing to see her.”

Brandy and Monica’s fans will get to hear the divas’ new duet sooner than expected. Their first collaboration in 14 years will be released next month.

RCA Records has announced a February 6 release date for the singers’ new single, “It All Belongs to Me.” Written and produced by Rico Love, the poignant song reunites the women for the first time since they topped the charts in 1998 with “The Boy Is Mine.”

The newly-minted record picks up where the original left off. “It’s a very soulful R&B song with pop sensibilities,” Rico Love said. “I wanted to make sure I made it a classic R&B record, but I definitely wanted to make sure that it had enough appeal to cross over and become a Top 40 record.”

“The Boy Is Mine” held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks, won a Grammy for R&B Performance by a Duo or Group, and was declared the best-selling song of 1998.

“It All Belongs to Me” will appear on Monica’s upcoming album New Life, due March 6, and Brandy’s as-yet-untitled RCA/Chameleon Records debut, coming later this spring.

Kid Cudi Pushes Back WZRD Album

Kid Cudi needs a little more time to perfect his magic. The rapper’s rock album WZRD has been delayed by a month.

The project, a collaboration with producer Dot Da Genius, was originally scheduled to arrive on January 30, Cudi’s 28th birthday. With two weeks to go until the original drop date, Dot Da Genius announced to fans that they’ll have to wait a little longer.

“Me and Cudi have been working on our debut album and it’s almost near completion,” he wrote in a series of tweets. “We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us.”

They are now aiming for a February 28 release. “With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th,” he said. “Y’all know how Cudi is’ and I’m the same way. Everything has to be in place and now it is.”

WZRD has spawned the singles “Brake” and “Teleport 2 Me,” which will be released to iTunes in the coming weeks, along with the fan favorite “Dose of Dopeness.”
